BTW! I'm also doing "the most detailed" wall I will ever make, so much so it's still in the works... I started it about 5 months ago, and I still think I'm less than 50% done with it. It's not a parody this time, but more of a project for a patient of mine here. He's a 13 year old boy who loves ecchi. Unfortunately he's diagnosed of stage IV rhabdomyosarcoma of the left leg with pulmonary metastasis. He doesn't have much time. He showed him one of my previous works and he liked it. I also showed him the one I'm doing now, it was then I found out he liked ecchi. He told me "Doc, I'd like to see you finish this painting of yours while I'm still alive." That really shook me. He's a good kid, and a strong one at that. At his young age, he feels he's ready to die. It's an eye opener for me. His parents are cry a lot about his ailment, but he remains strong- willed and shows his parents there's hope.

I'm gonna try to finish the wall as much as possible. I'm gonna dedicate it to him. I hope I do make it while he's still strong...

It's been a while. I just came from 30 hour duty. I'm resting a bit and working on my research proposal for a comparative analysis on the laparoscopic surgery clinical outcomes. But enough of medical jargons... I'm very fine. I'm currently the transplant rotator for our batch, meaning any surgeries involving such will go through me. Hehe.

How's life? How's your Dad by the way? Hope the two of you are getting along fine. I think it's been months since you moved for college. What are you getting into by the way?

Anyway, it's been a while since we last chat. I always check AP more than I check my mail. So just lemme know if you need anything.

Well...

I had that experience before. Things doesn't always go always as planned. But you know what, some of the most interesting people I know didn't know at 22, what they wanted to do with their lives. Some of the most interesting 40 year olds I know still don't.

Same old, same old. Wake up at 530am. Go to the OR at 7am. Finish at lunch time. Eat lunch. Proceed to the next OR at 2. Go out of the OR at 5. Man the ER. Talk to all sorts of patients (abdominal pains, lacerations, vehicular accidents, gunshots, what have you). Remain awake till the next day. Get breakfast, go to the OR, go home at 5pm... All in all, 36 hours.

I do try to find some spare time to wall. It's a good outlet to vent frustrations and such.

Well, I gotta go. Duty calls. Chat some time again soon!

Busy...

I can only spend just an hour a day on walling. If I'm not called for a referral at the ER, I'm doing our census thing. If not that, I'm studying for the upcoming board exams. It's tough. But I wanna make this wall. It's going to be big, IMO. I'll just check the site from time to time and lemme know when you wanna have that wall of yours checked. I'm glad to help

Sorry for the late reply. Been busy. Just lemme know how's your wall's progress. First you have to do the base colors then you can focus on how to do shadows and lights and gradients. I'll help you out on that.

How's life?

College life is something heh... Yeah, college is expensive so studies should be taken seriously. But you'll find a lot of people just trying to live life, so to speak heh, at least that's what I see and a lot of times involve alcohol. I've gotten drunk once here and will not do it again. Although it had its moments, the hangover and the bad taste far outweighs it haha.

Heh, a lot of people say that when they hear philosophy. I was trying to go towards law with philosophy but I don't think I would have been able to hold together from all the work related stress i heard about heh. I'm actually trying to go towards therapy with psychology or even psychiatry but o chem...

I sometimes make loin steaks w/mashed potatoes (just the potatoes no half and half/cream/etc) and spaghetti w/ sausage, nothing too complicated since I've tried things in the past and didn't turn out too well haha.

Congrats on grad. and starting anew in college. GL finding a good place to rent out, my area is really expensive, not so happy >< heh. I don't know much about baking and pastries but baked alaskas and those paper thin pastries are good :D. And oh man, cooking for yourself, for some reason it takes longer for me than it really should at times haha ...

Yeah, vectoring is very tedious haha ><. I read somewhere that you should use illustrator or inkscape (free product) rather than photoshop or gimp (free product). This is because (I'm not sure if I'm totally correct) photoshop and gimp uses pixels and illustrater and inkscape uses "lines" - it's not yet pixel-ated (no square boxes everywhere). And when you are finished with the vector in i/i you can convert it to png format in p/g. And I use the free products since adobe is pretty expensive.

And no! it wasn't fun learning lol, I'm still learning little things I have yet to come across. And make paper as in a wallpaper? I don't think so, I'll just stick with vectoring heh. And I was intending on majoring in philosophy but I got sick it, too much repetition and outlandish ideals that I didn't want to give time to. I still philosophize but not to every concept/ideal. I'm leaning towards psychology now. And what about you, do you have a plan yet?

Hmmm... check out Nysha-san's Ultimite Vectoring Guide. I've heard, that that's the best vector tutorial in existence, actually, I haven't read it, but many waller says it's pretty good, so I'm sure that it'll help you. If you use it, don't forget to credit Nysha-san in your description, when the time comes~

Hey! Yeah I haven't been around much and am not as engaging on the forums as I was before heh. I've actually grown a lil tired of philosophical arguments or even arguments in general haha since I've had plenty recently in my university. I still like to hear out people's opinions and have a discussion but not as aggressive in pursuing/initiating them. Well, other than that, I'm just busy with school and planning /(>C<)\ . And just trying to learn how to vector in my free time. How's it going with you?
